With over a decade of asbestos industry experience, Gareth brings a wealth of knowledge to Helix. His background as a UKATA auditor and asbestos educator has helped shape the UKATA-accredited training he now delivers.
Now leading UKATA-accredited training at Helix, he combines technical know-how with a passion for sharing knowledge. You might also find him carrying out surveys across the country on his own adventures.
(Fun fact: Gareth’s love for German beer is matched only by his knack for turning a simple site visit into a road trip.)

PROFILE
Kris co-founded Helix in the middle of the COVID era, bringing with him over a decade of hands-on experience from the construction industry and running a family roofing merchant in South Wales. His practical mindset and business sense have helped shape Helix from the ground up. These days, he focuses on promoting the company’s UKATA training and asbestos services, all while keeping customer experience front and centre.
(Fun fact: Kris is always on the lookout for a good Belgian beer—and a great dive bar to enjoy it in while travelling.)
