It’s hard to believe that what started in June 2021 has grown into what Helix is today.

Back then, it was freelancing asbestos training and surveying, while also carrying out the removals ourselves. It was long days, plenty of graft and doing whatever it took to get the job done.

Over the last five years, we’ve travelled the length and breadth of the UK (and beyond!) by car, train, plane and even boat, supporting clients wherever they needed us.

From demolition surveys in Aberdeen to crawling through ducts in Norwich, working along the west coast of Ireland, surveying hotels in London and delivering training in Inverness, it’s certainly been an adventure. Looking back at our project map, it’s incredible to see just how many places this business has taken us.

One of our biggest milestones was getting the keys to our own unit in Caerphilly and watching it grow into the base we have today. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

More than anything, we’re grateful for the relationships we’ve built along the way. Some of our clients have been with us since day one, placing their trust in us time and time again, while we’ve also had the opportunity to work with many new businesses on exciting projects.
